It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 12 years since Westlife burst onto the music scene with their first single which was also their first No.1 record. In the years gone by, the band have gone on to have 14 number one singles, 10 multi-platinum albums, win dozens of awards and have dominated the charts selling over 44 million records worldwide, making them one of the top selling groups of the decade!
To celebrate their illustrious career so far, we'll be taking you through some of the most memorable moments and highlights of their musical journey so far.
If you can cast your minds back to April 1999, to the track that was on every radio station, TV show, CD player and music channel across the country then you would remember that it was 'Swear It Again' - The band’s debut, No.1 single.

Do You Remember... (Week 2)
Do you remember Westlife's first ever world tour? Were you there to see them? Well, if you were then you'd know that the band's first world tour that covered Europe and Asia over 10 years ago in 2001 was called the 'Where The Dreams Come True Tour.'
Shane, Mark, Kian and Nicky went on tour in support of their debut, self-titled album.
The set list included some of the boys early hits including 'Flying Without Wings,' 'Uptown Girl' and 'Swear It Again.'
Since that tour, Westlife have embarked on another 10 world tours including 'World of Our Own Tour' 'The Number One's Tour' and more recently the 'Gravity' tour, visiting everywhere from Europe, Asia to Australia and the Middle East!
