POPSTAR Nicky Byrne may have hung up his microphone but now he has picked up a pair of ballroom dancing shoes.
Nicky (33) will take to the dance floor as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
And he admitted that he knows the gruelling routines will be much more intense than the choreography demands of Westlife.
“It feels strange. I mean I’m excited, scared to death.
“Most of my dance career has been spent sitting on a stool with Westlife,” he said on the BBC programme The One Show.
